LoveSprout Privacy Policy

LoveSprout ("we," "us," "our") is developed by AGR Apps. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using LoveSprout, you agree to this policy.

1. Who this app is for

LoveSprout is designed for couples aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it.

2. Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and (if you sign in with Apple or Google) the identifiers those services provide. If you enable push notifications, we store a device token to deliver them.

Content you and your partner create. LoveSprout's core purpose is helping couples connect, so the app stores the content you create together:

• Daily question answers
• Mood check-ins and optional notes
• Weekly quiz responses (guess-the-answer games and relationship-skill packs)
• Weekly Challenge completions, including any photos you upload as proof of completion
• Love notes sent to your partner (preset and custom messages)
• Time Capsule letters (written privately, sealed until your tree reaches full bloom)
• Gratitude entries and any other written content within couple features

Relationship and progress data. We store your couple's pairing status, tree growth progress (stage and sub-level), streaks, health, and milestones reached, so the app can display your shared progress accurately.

Subscription status. See Section 5 below — we store whether your subscription is active and when it renews or expires, never raw payment details.

Usage and device information. We collect standard technical information (device type, operating system, app version, crash logs, and basic usage analytics) to keep the app working and improve it.

3. How your content is shared — the core privacy design of this app

LoveSprout is built around one rule: your content is visible only to you and your paired partner — never to other users, never publicly, and never used to compare your relationship to anyone else's.

Specific privacy mechanics:

• Daily answers are hidden from your partner until you have both answered ("reveal" mechanic) — neither of you can see the other's answer early.
• Time Capsule letters are sealed and private to their author until your tree reaches full bloom, at which point both letters are revealed to both partners simultaneously.
• Weekly Challenge photos are private to your couple — visible only to you and your partner, never shared publicly, never used in app marketing without your separate, explicit consent.
• Mood check-ins and love notes are visible only within your paired couple.

We do not have a public feed, public profiles, or any feature that shows your content to other users of the app.

4. How we use your information

We use the information above to:

• Operate the core features of the app (daily questions, reveals, mood tracking, challenges, quizzes, the shared tree, time capsule)
• Send notifications relevant to your couple (e.g., your partner answered, a mood needing attention, a challenge deadline)
• Maintain your subscription status and unlock premium features
• Provide customer support
• Improve the app through aggregated, non-identifying analytics
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your private answers, photos, or messages to train AI models, and we do not share them with advertisers.

5. Payments and subscriptions

LoveSprout offers optional premium subscriptions. How payment is processed depends on your platform:

If you subscribe on iOS: your subscription is purchased and processed entirely through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Apple handles your payment method, billing, and receipt — we never receive or store your card details or any other financial information. Apple's own privacy policy governs that transaction.

If you subscribe on Android: your subscription is purchased through a Stripe-hosted checkout page. Stripe processes your payment method and billing directly — we never receive or store your card details. Stripe's own privacy policy governs that transaction.

What we store on our servers, regardless of platform: only your subscription status (active/expired), the product you purchased (e.g., monthly or annual), and renewal/expiration dates — never raw payment or card data. This is what allows the app to unlock premium features for you and, where applicable, your partner.

Shared premium access: if either partner in a couple has an active premium subscription, both partners' accounts unlock premium features within that couple.

6. Where your data is stored

Your data is stored using Supabase, our backend infrastructure provider, with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Data may be processed in regions outside your own country; we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place regardless of where processing occurs.

7. Your choices and rights

You can:

• Access and export your content through the app's history and timeline features.
• Delete individual content where the app supports it (e.g., editing mood check-ins before midnight).
• Delete your account, which removes your personal profile information. Note: because LoveSprout's core experience is shared between two paired partners, some shared content (e.g., a daily answer your partner already saw revealed, or a jointly completed challenge) may remain associated with your couple's history unless your partner also requests deletion, consistent with how shared-relationship data works. Contact support@agrapps.com to request account or data deletion, and we will explain exactly what will and won't be removed in your case.
• Opt out of non-essential notifications in your device or in-app settings.
• Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws like the GDPR or CCPA, including the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

8. Data retention

We retain your account and couple content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain it for legal, security, or legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, dispute resolution).

9. Children's privacy

LoveSprout is not directed at children and requires users to be 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes, we'll notify you in the app.
